YouTrip Australia Referral: How to Get the A$10 Sign-Up Bonus

YouTrip Australia’s referral programme gives eligible new users A$10 after completing the referral process and making their first top-up. I used YouTrip during my travels in China and Malaysia. How to claim the A$10
- Open the referral link before installing the YouTrip app.
- Tap Confirm on the referral page.
- Follow the instructions to complete registration and identity verification.
- Make your first top-up. The official help page currently says any amount qualifies.
- The reward is credited once all requirements are met, including both the referrer and new user having topped up.
Do not skip the confirmation screen: YouTrip says the referral will not be recorded without it.
Is there a referral code to type?
This invitation uses a link. Follow the referral page and confirm the invitation instead of signing up separately. If you have already installed the app, check with YouTrip support before proceeding. Do not assume a referral can be applied retrospectively.
What if the link does not show an invitation?
YouTrip says referral links expire after 30 days and a new link is generated in the app. If this link does not display the invitation, request an updated link from CheapyOZ before registering. An expired link may not track correctly.
Is cashback included with the referral?
The A$10 referral reward and the 4% welcome cashback are separate offers.
The published cashback terms checked on 23 September 2026 require account approval by 31 August 2026. Eligible existing participants can continue for five months from approval, subject to the terms.
YouTrip now advertises a separate 4% offer for the first six months for new customers. The promotional image confirms an A$25 monthly cashback cap. Full eligibility and combination with the referral still need to be checked in the app. Confirm the current in-app terms.
How does the current A$25 monthly cap work?
The welcome offer pays 4% on eligible international purchases for the first six months, capped at A$25 per month.

Reaching the cap in each of six qualifying months gives up to A$150 in total. This is not an A$1,000 cashback limit. Check which transactions and monthly periods qualify in the offer terms.
How did the previous A$40 cap work?
Under the previous 2% campaign terms, eligible participants received 2% on qualifying non-AUD purchases, capped at A$40 per calendar month.

A$2,000 in eligible spending reaches the cap. ATM withdrawals, AUD purchases and reversed or refunded transactions do not qualify.
Why I use YouTrip
It worked with Alipay and WeChat Pay during my China trip, and I used it with Grab in Malaysia. I especially liked receiving notifications showing spending in Australian dollars. Extra approvals sometimes slowed payments down, so I still travelled with a backup card.
Choose it based on whether its features suit your travel plans—the referral bonus is a small extra.
